Reasons to Participate in SPX Coke Sales Fundraiser

  • Every dollar raised by your sport goes directly to support your team’s efforts.
  • The more Coke product SPX purchases determines our purchase price for all Coke products across campus to include concessions, vending machines, the cafeteria and The Roar Store.
  • In addition to the profit made on each sale, the St. Pius X Athletic Association receives a rebate per case of water, soft drinks and Powerade purchased.
  • During many sales, multiple cases of product were donated to the concession stand yielding the school a straight profit.

How is the Fundraising Money Spent?

  • Many teams use money raised towards team swag.
  • Money raised helps supplement coaching stipends.
  • The Athletic Association supplements team budgets, which are not covered by the school.
  • The Athletic Association assists in the upgrading and upkeep of all the campus athletic facilities.

What is MY Role in the St. Pius Coke Sales Fundraiser?

  • Sell Coke products to friends and family.
  • Volunteer at the Coke Sales Pick Up Day with your team and athlete.
  • Pick up your product.  St. Pius X is not responsible for any product left on campus after the pick up date.

Which Product Yields the Highest Profit?

  • St. Pius X Athletic Association (AA) makes the most money on water and tea.
  • An array of products are offered because the overall total profit, regardless of product sold, benefits the entire program.

What if My Family Doesn’t Consume Bottled Water or Soft Drinks?

  • Many families purchase product to support their team’s efforts and donate the product to the concession stand.
  • We recommend you purchase water to donate.

It is Now Time to Get Your Physical

St. Pius X will not be offering physicals this year.  Instead, we are encouraging everyone to go to their personal physician.  If you have problems getting an appointment with your own doctor, you may go to any urgent care facility or pharmacy that offers "sports physicals."  Contact your coach or team coordinator for more information about centers that offer physicals.  Just be sure to bring our forms when you go.  (See the gold link below.)

New Procedure for Physicals:  Welcome PlanetHS!

St. Pius X Catholic High School will use PlanetHS as the digital platform to upload physicals and complete required athletic forms.   This platform will be used by all new students and all athletes for the 2020-2021 school year.

Here is the link to the PlanetHS instruction sheet.  When populating our school type "Pius" and it will assist in populating that box.  Parents and students must create separate accounts using different emails and/or mobile numbers.  Be sure the parent account and student accounts are linked.  Important: Students and parents must use their SPX email addresses.

All necessary forms are available on the PlanetHS website.  For your convenience you may click here for the forms your doctor will need to sign..

Athletic Association

Tags:  mmartin@spx.org

The Athletic Association enhances all Golden Lions athletic programs by providing supplemental financial and volunteer support.  The association provides over 40% of each sport's annual operational budget by assisting with uniform and equipment replacement, facility enhancements and rental needs, and assistant coaching stipends.

The Athletic Association also provides volunteer staffing, sponsors a golf tournament and the Christmas Classic basketball tournament, holds annual athletic physicals, and organizes 3 Coke product fundraising sales.  An annual membership drive is held each July with levels ranging from $50 to $550.  Corporate sponsorships and general advertising opportunities are also solicited.

In 2018-2019 the Athletic  Association added 2 wrestling mats, portable softball fencing, a new volleyball net system, a battle flag, a pole vault pit, and new coaching supplements in addition to their annual sustaining support.

St. Pius X is proud of its tradition of athletic excellence. Over 75% of our students participate in one of our 22 athletic programs. Their dedication, both individually and collectively, to being the best that they can be with the talent that God has given them, is a constant theme and driving force within this school.

Our accomplishments are many:

  • 3 National Championships
  • 75 State Championships (including 6 in 2018-2019)
  • 72 State Runners Up Titles (including 2 in 2018-2019)
  • 6 GADA Directors Cup Championships (including 2018-2019)

This type of success is due to the collaborative efforts of our students, coaches, and parents. The St. Pius X Athletic Association serves as the vehicle for our parents, grandparents, and alumni to get involved. Join our Athletic Association, get involved and become part of the great St. Pius X tradition.
