School Culture Clubs

MR. BRIAN CHRISTOPHERSON, MODERATOR

“I cannot walk alone.” If there was ever a way to summarize how I am fulfilled, how I am saved, how I am made whole, how I learn, it’s the preceding quote. Scriptures and our tradition make it very clear, I need help on this wonderful and crazy thing called life. We’re happy to offer a club for young men to not walk alone: the Frassati Club. In the friendship that brotherhood is, I’m strengthened and encouraged – made to be better.

MR. WILL CLOYD, MODERATOR

Main activities include orientation, freshman/sophomore dance, election of freshman council, homecoming, and Christmas gifts.

MRS. JEN SEDLACK, MODERATORS

The Jungle Club is a senior-led student group that supports our student-athletes at all sporting events. We demonstrate the culture of Pius’ student body by being enthusiastic, respectful, and having good sportsmanship in all that we do.

MRS. LAURA ROBERTSON AND MRS. LINDSEY FARRELL, MODERATORS

Join the Junior Class Council to help in preparing for homecoming week activities, coordinating school spirit events, and most importantly … planning prom!
Please note the optional purchasing of class rings is available junior year, the decision to purchase a class ring rests entirely with student(s) and parent(s).

MR. MIKE ABREU, MODERATORS

Do you like to sing or play an instrument, Music Ministry is for you! The ministry that provides the musical leadership for in-school Masses, Music Ministry practices on Tuesdays before school and on the day of an All School Mass. Share your talent with the school and the Lord and have some fun singing and playing with your peers! Contact Campus Ministry if you are interested!

MRS. REBECCA ROSE, MODERATOR

Women are the greatest supporter of other women.  This group aims to support, encourage, and walk with other woman on the road to Christ.

MS. VICTORIA MILLARD AND MRS. DENA PECK, MODERATORS

Main activities include homecoming, class picture for Senior Class Day, class t-shirts, pictures with Santa, Field Day, raffle, and senior gift presented to school at Awards Assembly.

MR. CHARLES HICKS AND MR. ANDREW LAUER, MODERATORS

Sophomore Council class meetings are on Thursday mornings from 7:35-7:55 am throughout the Fall semester. The meetings are held in Room #105 (in the Theology Hallway).

Main activities: planning for various student-led initiatives, including freshman/sophomore dance, homecoming week, freshman orientation and party, and Christmas gifts.

MR. IAN LABRECK AND MR. HOWEL BUOT, MODERATORS

The objectives of the SPX Student Council are:

Provide a forum in which students can address school-related issues that affect their lives;
Maintain a continuous flow of communication between students, faculty members and administrators;
Offer a year-long program of social functions and community involvement projects for students;
Provide leadership training for students in the duties and obligations of responsible citizenship, using the school environment as the primary training ground.
