On Monday, August 21, 2017, St. Pius X will fall in the 97th percent of totality for the eclipse of the sun.
In preparation for the eclipse, the school has purchased special viewing glasses for all faculty, staff, and students. The school has developed a special schedule for the day and we will have an assembly at the end of the day in the stadium to watch the eclipse.

Everyone is welcome to come to a special presentation on Answering Atheism by internationally renowned speaker and Catholic apologist Trent Horn.
On August 22 at 7:00PM in the Young Center, Trent will speak on how we as Christians have the ability--and responsibility--to respond to the growing influence of secularism and atheism in our times through strong and convincing rational arguments.
Refreshments will be served before and after the talk. Admission is free.

Purpose of Mini Class Night:
This is an opportunity for you to experience firsthand what a typical day is like for your student. It is also a great opportunity to meet your student’s teachers. This is not a night for conferences, but rather just a meet-and-greet evening. Mini Class Night will start promptly at 7 p.m. in your student’s homeroom. The Roar Store is currently taking pre-orders for t-shirts commemorating the “Sixth Annual Crosstown Showdown” football game against Blessed Trinity Catholic High School on August 25. Smart Heart Scans will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017 and if necessary, Sunday, August 27, 2017 at St. Pius X. The process takes approximately 30 minutes from check-in to conclusion. Please keep in mind that this test is given by appointment only. We cannot accept walk-ins.
