The St. Pius X Softball Team will host its annual Pink Out game Monday, September 25 at 5:30 p.m. as the team hosts rival Chamblee Charter High School. Please join them for the special game and support our Golden Lions! Raffle items will be up for grabs throughout the game. We look forward to seeing you at there!

St. Pius X Chorus Director Millie Turek served as pianist for the Atlanta Young Singers on the NPR radio show From the Top, hosted by acclaimed pianist Christopher O'Riley (pictured below with Turek). The show is the country's largest platform for celebrating young musicians, and their stories, talents and character. The Counseling Department is offering a suicide training for the parents in our community on Wednesday, October 4. If you are interested, please click here to view the flyer and sign-up. Each session is an hour and a half. The course is free to attend, but seats are limited to the first 25 guests to register.

**UPDATE, WEDNESDAY, SEPT 13 6:45am** Power has been restored to campus. We will begin our school day at 11:00am. As I am sure you know, many are still recovering from the effects of Hurricane Irma. We were very fortunate in that there was no damage to the school. However, power has yet to be restored on campus. Congratulations to sophomore Morgan Vaden who was named West Strider of the Month by West Stride. Vaden was honored for her skill on the course and also her strength in leadership. Coach Debbie Guilbeau credits Vaden's leadership for propelling three freshmen girls into the top seven runners for the school. Click here to read the full article.

The Roar Store will be pre-selling tickets to the SPX vs. Marist football game. Parents and friends can take advantage of the pre-sale. Students do not need a ticket. Roar Store ticket sale hours are September 6 - 8 from 8:00AM-3:00PM. The Roar Store is closed each day for lunch from 1:00-2:00 PM. Tickets are $7.00 each and may be charged to FACTS.
