We are changing the book process for the 2020-2021.  We will no longer be charging a flat rate for books and providing books to students.  We have outsourced our bookstore to EdTech, and you will purchase all required materials directly through EdTech.  We made this decision for many reasons, including problems with the physical process of returning and delivering books to students due to the current pandemic, an effort to reduce book costs where possible, and the need to move towards ebooks.... For those taking the test, please arrive between 7:20 AM and 7:40 AM and enter through the main gate at the front of the school.  A temperature check and verbal survey will be administered upon arrival.  Anyone with a temperature over 100 or anyone who does not confirm all statements or refuses to answer them will not be allowed access.  Masks are required to be worn throughout the entire test and at all times while on our campus.  Instructions must be followed from test center staff.  We have... Congratulations to Carter Loflin '22 for winning the 71st playing of the Press Thornton Future Masters in Dothan, Alabama. Carter's three-day total of 204 (67-70-67) gave him a one-stroke victory over Zach Adams of Charleston, South Carolina and Michael Mays of Winter Park, Florida. Congratulations to recent graduate Joey Tarnowski who finished 17th overall in the country in Lincoln-Douglas debate at the Online National Speech and Debate Tournament. Since 1931 the tournament has brought together thousands of middle and high school students to the largest academic competition in the world to debate current events, voice their views, and share their stories. Joey will compete next year for Samford University. Congratulations on an outstanding career debating for St. Pius X!

The Office of Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of Atlanta recently shared the news that Archbishop Gregory Hartmayer, OFM Conv., has announced that Mr. Harry "Hal" Plummer has been named Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese of Atlanta. He will replace Dr. Diane Starkovich when she retires on June 30.
