The new SPX Advanced Guitar Ensemble album, Songs from the Barn, Vol.V is out on all major streaming platforms. The album was recorded at Callanwolde Recording Studios in January 2021 and features four original songs. Thank you to everyone who voted in the 7th Annual Songwriting Contest! St. Pius X is proud to announce our two winners: "On the Highway" with 81 votes and "Walking in Love" with 74 votes. "On the Highway" was written and recorded by Jessica Trane and Julia Tardy. "Walking in Love" was written and recorded by Vincent Casal, Will Schmidt, and David Castro. The winning songs will be played at our upcoming Spring Arts Festival on Saturday, May 1. Congratulations!

Todd Mooney has been selected as the Athletic Director of the Year from Region 5-5A.  He was selected by his peers for this recognition.  The award will be presented at the Georgia Athletic Directors Association (GADA) Awards Ceremony on Saturday, June 5, 2021. Congratulations, Coach Mooney!

Last week saw the Golden Lions in action in all but one spring sport.  Girls' soccer dropped to the second spot in the Score Atlanta AAAAA state poll, while the boys' soccer team remains in the No. 3 spot.  Girls' lacrosse continues to hold in the No. 10 spot in the Score Atlanta state poll for A-5A teams.   Baseball took three of four games since last week as it moved above the .500-mark with a 6-5 record and 1-0 in Region 5-AAAAA play.  The Golden Lions knocked off Norcross 8-1 before... The St. Pius X Spring Blood Drive will be held on campus on Thursday, March 25. Students age 16 and over can participate and earn a Work of Mercy. Online appointment signups for students ARE OPEN. March 25-27 at 7 pm, March 28 at 2pm The Annual Spring Dance Concert Forward Motion will feature the St. Pius X Dance Company, Dance III classes, and the Dance Team.  A variety of work will showcase jazz, contemporary, pointe, and hip hop styles.  Audiences will enjoy pieces by Rachel Truitt, Mitzi Anderson, Pumkin Harris, and Madison Schrama, as well as student choreography.
