The St. Pius X Dance Company and the Advanced Dance class will be presenting student choreography on November 17th at 6:00 p.m. in the Young Center. Original group work, as well as solo, duet, and small ensemble choreography will be presented. Tickets are $5 and each student receives one free ticket. Tickets are on sale at spxarts.booktix.com.

The Golden Lions football team will host Cass in the first round of the state playoffs Friday night at Maloof Stadium at 7:30 p.m.   All spectators, including students, must purchase a ticket via the GoFan Link.  Tickets are $8. The game is an official GHSA State Playoff Contest, therefore, no Athletic Association, Gold Card or Student ID passes will be accepted for admission.  Only GHSA passes will be accepted.

Longtime St. Pius X Golden Lion supporter and volunteer Tom Novack passed away peacefully on November 3 following the opportunity to cheer his Atlanta Braves on to victory in the World Series. For over 25 years, Tom and his beloved wife Joanne supported the St. Pius X community by running the concession stand, which was named in their honor. Congratulations to SPX Theatre for receiving Runner Up at the GHSA 5AAAAA Regional One Act Awards as well as Outstanding Ensemble Character, Katie Cavanaugh and All Star Cast, Bianca Cardona and Owen Ingram.  Keep up the great work!

SAT/ACT Prep is a class offered outside of the regular school day for juniors and seniors who want extra preparation for the SAT and ACT tests. Classes are in-person and held on January 8, 15, and 22, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. For more information and to register, please click here.

The St. Pius X volleyball team, ranked No. 1 in the state, travels to Perry High School to take on the No. 2-ranked Blessed Trinity Titans in the semi-finals of the state volleyball tournament on Saturday at 12:00 p.m.  The Golden Lions are 50-1 on the season, and are looking for their third state title in school history, and first since 2018.
