Congratulations to recent graduate Joey Tarnowski who finished 17th overall in the country in Lincoln-Douglas debate at the Online National Speech and Debate Tournament. Since 1931 the tournament has brought together thousands of middle and high school students to the largest academic competition in the world to debate current events, voice their views, and share their stories. Joey will compete next year for Samford University. Congratulations on an outstanding career debating for St. Pius X!

The Office of Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of Atlanta recently shared the news that Archbishop Gregory Hartmayer, OFM Conv., has announced that Mr. Harry "Hal" Plummer has been named Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese of Atlanta. He will replace Dr. Diane Starkovich when she retires on June 30.
