We will be pre-selling Pius vs Marist football tickets in the Roar Store this Tuesday - Thursday during school hours and on Friday, game day until 12:00 p.m. The Roar Store is closed for lunch from 1:15 - 2 p.m. We hope to see you there! As a reminder, this game is a black out. Go Lions!

The Golden Lion women's cross country team recorded a perfect score at the Peachtree Ridge Stage Races over the weekend. Morgan Vaden paced the lady harriers with a time of 12:10 over the two-mile course. Only one other women's cross country team has recorded a perfect score at the Stage Races since 2000. The Golden Lions are back in action on September 1 at the Berry College Invitational.

Middle School Softball Tryouts 2018 St. Pius X Middle School Tryouts will be held on 2 separate days. You will only need to attend 1 tryout. Boys' Track & Field coach Ryan McClay and junior thrower Tanner Duffin were recognized Wednesday, June 6 by the Atlanta Track Club at their annual Powerade All-Metro Track & Field Banquet. Duffin received the Bruce Yohe Outstanding Male Field Athlete of the year. He won the 4A State discus title with a throw of 189' 3" and recently broke 200' to record the no. 3 throw in the nation. Summer Softball Workouts are for Middle School and High School prospective players. Workouts will begin June 5th. Softball workouts will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00am-10:15am. We will always meet in the hitting facility. Please bring practice gear and plenty of water. Tennis shoes & turf shoes can be worn in the indoor hitting facility and tennis shoes, turf shoes, molded cleats may be worn on our turf field.

ESPX, the student-led web broadcasting club, received the Best Marketing Award from the National Federation of High Schools Network last week.
