Congratulations to our Advanced Guitar Ensemble, who by invitation, participated in Georgia's first ever Honors Guitar Ensemble. They performed "Vals de la Culebra, a commissioned work by Darin Au. Their video premiered February 10, 2021. The Honors Guitar Ensemble included the best of the best from across Georgia. St. Pius X was given the unique honor of having all of our students invited to perform, as opposed to just a few of our students. To view their performance, please click here.

From the St. Pius X Fine Arts Department and SPAS The Seventeenth Annual St. Pius X Juried Visual Arts Exhibition is a celebration of the Visual Arts to be held this year beginning on February the 26th, 2021. The exhibition will include a juried student competition, awards for outstanding student artwork, and both an online and in-person exhibition. The SPX Theatre program presents Our Town January 21-24 Tickets are now available for Our Town presented by the SPX Theatre program! On December 16 and 17, we will premiere the virtual performance of our annual Christmas Concert.  This year, our department collaborated to combine the music and dance programs for this holiday video compilation. The national Poetry Out Loud competition is sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts and was held in the Young Center of St. Pius X Catholic High School on December 3, 2020.  Chloe Burgoon, Katie Cavanaugh, Avery Jones, Stella Lampert, Molly Pitra, Grace Rosenberg, Kelly Rousseau, and Logan Yates competed for the school competition. The Georgia Theatre Conference (GTC) was held this past weekend and the Pius Players took home several awards. Congratulations to Logan Yates, Best Supporting Actor for the entire competition. Elephant's Graveyard won Best Technical for the entire competition.
