Due to the possibility of dangerous driving conditions such as icy overpasses, roadways or driveways in your area, and out of an abundance of caution for our young drivers, school will close on Monday, January 8, 2018. Registration for the upcoming SAT Prep Class is now open. SAT Prep is a class offered outside of the regular school day for juniors and seniors who are interested in extra preparation for the SAT tests. Though students are continually preparing for the test in the regular curriculum offered by St. Pius X, some students will benefit from some intentional tutoring and practice before taking the SAT test. We have a brand new process regarding senior parent ads for the 2018 yearbook. All ads will be created and purchased online directly through our yearbook publishing company using the website www.yearbookforever.com. After selecting the size you wish to purchase, you will then have the option of uploading a finished product or choosing from a selection of templates and design tools to build your ad. **UPDATE, WEDNESDAY, SEPT 13 6:45am** Power has been restored to campus. We will begin our school day at 11:00am. As I am sure you know, many are still recovering from the effects of Hurricane Irma. We were very fortunate in that there was no damage to the school. However, power has yet to be restored on campus. On Monday, August 21, 2017, St. Pius X will fall in the 97th percent of totality for the eclipse of the sun. In preparation for the eclipse, the school has purchased special viewing glasses for all faculty, staff, and students.
