New year…new opportunities! When New Year’s Day has rolled around in the past, have you ever vowed to get healthier? To exercise more? To be in better shape for the upcoming year? My bet is that most of us have. I don’t know about you, but it tends to be a busy schedule that leads me away from my best intentions to get fit, and honestly that is a huge part of the challenges for our students as well. Many of our students want to take our weight training class to allow them to complete their... Other elements include a new entryway to the school... Read More

Donating stock directly to St. Pius X Catholic High School is one of the most tax advantageous ways to give. Say you have a share of Apple stock you purchased at $50 a share a few years ago. Today, those shares are worth $175 a share. If you sold that share, you would pay capital gains tax on the $125 gain, giving a portion of your gain to the government. Instead, if you donate that share to St. Pius, you get to deduct the full $175 as a charitable donation, while forgoing the capital gains tax... Read More

The month of December is flying by and our students are looking forward to finishing exams tomorrow and the Christmas break. Our Campus Ministry Department sponsored a series of activities for the students to help with the stress of exam time.
