Mothers’ Club

It is another exciting year for St. Pius X and we are delighted that the Mothers’ Club is part of it!  We invite every mom to join the St. Pius X Mothers’ Club, to meet other moms and to connect with the St. Pius X Community.  The time commitment can be as large or as small as your life allows and you can pick the activities that interest you and fit your schedule.

We offer many different opportunities for fellowship, spiritual growth, faculty appreciation, and service to the community. The St. Pius X Mothers’ Club also has annual fundraising opportunities from the ever-popular Holiday Marketplace to the very helpful Used Uniform Sale.

Through annual contributions and fundraising efforts, the St. Pius X Mothers’ Club donated $40,000 in scholarship funds to deserving students at St. Pius X. We also provide additional financial assistance to St. Pius X Students on an as needed basis throughout the school year and continue to build the Mothers’ Club Endowment Fund to serve future generations. We are proud of this $56,000 contribution toward student scholarships and assistance and hope to continue this strong investment in our students each school year.

The St. Pius Mothers’ Club invites you to participate in registration for 2023-2024 by filling out our Membership Form online.  Your dues will be charged either through your FACTS account or credit card, and the membership fee will be active for the 2023-2024 school year. Your membership fee is used to help fund scholarships, service projects, and activities.

  • Spirituality plus-circle Created with Sketch Beta.

Being a Catholic school, spirituality is a large part of who we are. So the Mothers’ Club offers many different opportunities for our members to come together and grow in faith.

Mothers’ Club Prayer Group: This group provides uniform prayer support for the students, faculty and staff of the St. Pius community monthly at 8:15am on various Wednesdays in the chapel:  9/13/23, 10/18/23, 11/8/23, 12/13/23, 1/10/24, 2/21/24, 3/13/24, 4/10/24, 5/8/24

This committee also gifts a hand crafted prayer tile to each Senior for Graduation, a wonderful remembrance of our school and a special project for all involved.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: This group coordinates Adoration each Friday in the Chapel. Guardians are sought for one-hour time slots between 9:00am and 3:00pm during the school year. This is a joint effort through Campus Ministry and the Mother’s Club. Guardianship is open to Pius students, parents, grandparents and alumnae. If you would like to either be a permanent Guardian (ex. The 1st Friday of each month, 9-10am) or a substitute Guardian (sign up when available), please contact spxmothersclub@spxstudent.org.

Mothers’ Annual Retreat: All moms are invited to attend this beautiful day of reflection and spiritual growth. Each year has a special theme and guest speaker. There will also be lunch and the opportunity for reconciliation. Join us on January 27, 2024

Advent by Candlelight: Everyone is invited to attend this magical evening event that is both social and spiritual. A wonderful way to prepare our hearts and minds for the holy season of Advent (as well as for the busy holidays ahead!). This event brings together women of St. Pius X (moms, faculty, friends and family) for an evening of food and fellowship. Join us on the evening of SUNDAY, December 3rd, 2023 in the St. Pius Cafeteria.

  • Faculty Appreciation plus-circle Created with Sketch Beta.

Our school would not be what it is without the hard work of our faculty and staff. This is why Mothers’ Club is happy to provide a number of different opportunities to recognize their efforts.

Faculty Birthday Cakes: One of our sweetest committees. Members of this committee provide a birthday cake (homemade or store bought) for a chosen faculty or staff member on their special day.

Faculty Appreciation Lunch: Lunch is served buffet style for the faculty and staff on the afternoon that students are dismissed early for the PSAT.

Faculty Christmas Party: Volunteers from the four parent organizations help the Development Office host the faculty/staff Christmas party. Mothers’ Club volunteers provide desert and aid in set up.

Faculty Valentine’s Treats: The Mothers’ Club lays out special treats in the faculty dining room on Valentine’s Day.

Teacher Enrichment Fund: Mothers’ Club provides a fund to be used as needed for non-covered expenses incurred by faculty and staff members during the school year.

  • Dresden School Supply Drive plus-circle Created with Sketch Beta.

Our Mothers’ Club Dresden Partnership committee organizes an Annual School Supplies Collection Drive during Lent to help fill a great need at our neighborhood school. Since Dresden is a Title 1 school with mostly lower-income families, many students come to school with no school supplies at all. Needed items are often purchased by the teachers out of their own pockets. The generosity of our St. Pius families makes a tremendous impact on the students and teachers at Dresden.

Where: Collection bins will placed in the HALL BEHIND CAMPUS MINISTRIES, in the CAFETERIA and in All THEOLOGY CLASSROOMS
