Ryan McClay (Head Coach/distance) - Ryan is entering his 10th year of coaching at St. Pius X. He has won  6 state cross country titles and 2 state runner ups. He has also won 3 state track titles and 1 state runner up. He graduated from Dacula High School after running cross country for three years and track for two under Andy Christie. He then went on to run collegiately at Berry College. While at Berry he raced in 7 National Championship races in Cross Country and track. After college he coached in Tyler, TX for one year before coming back to Georgia. He is married to Katie McClay and together they both continue to run races ranging from 5k to the marathon. They are have a child named Ashton.

Mary Pat Martin (Jumps/Sprints) - Coach Martin is entering her 6th year coaching Track and Field at St. Pius X. She is certified as a Level 1 USA Track & Field Coach. Coach Martin looks forward to working with the long and triple jump athletes to be their best this season! Coach Martin is a Professional School Counselor at SPX and is married with four children. Both Coach Martin (86) and her husband, James (82), are St. Pius alum as well as her son, Colin (12) and daughter Carol (16). Her other daughters Mary Grace (18), and Jamie (20) currently attend SPX. Coach Martin has enjoyed running and training for 15 years. Running is her passion and she loves to race in 10K's, Half-Marathons, and Marathons. Coach Martin has qualified and run in both the Boston and New York Marathons. 

Daniel White (Hurdles/Sprints/High Jump) - Coach White brings 20 seasons of coaching experience and 24 years of teaching experience to St. Pius X. After teaching and coaching stints in Texas--Beeville, Cedar Hill, and Episcopal High School (Houston), Coach White moved to Atlanta to be the head boys basketball coach at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School, where he remained for eight years. After spending two years at The Walker School in Marietta, White came to St. Pius X, where he teaches sophomore and junior English. In addition to being an assistant track coach (hurdles and high jump), he is also the freshman boys basketball coach. As a high school student, White ran cross country and track, and he continued to compete while in college, first at Angelo State University, and later at the University of Texas-San Antonio. He earned his bachelor’s degree in English from the UTSA and his master’s in English from the University of North Texas.

Jason Eaglen (Throws/Pole Vault) -  Jason Eaglen joined St. Pius X in 2008 and has coached for the Track and Field Team since 2013.  He coaches Throws, Pole Vault, and Strength & Conditioning for the Track and Field Team.  Coach Eaglen is also a Theology Teacher, the Theology Department Chairperson, the Varsity Assistant Swim and Dive Coach, and assists with the Strength & Conditioning Program in the Summer and Fall.  He loves being a part of all facets of the St. Pius X community, and is thrilled to lead such a vibrant and enthusiastic group of athletes each Spring in Track and Field.  Coach Eaglen is happily married to Amy Eaglen, who teaches Theology at Marist School, and is the proud father of four children.

Megan Fannon (Throws/Pole Vault) - This is Coach Fannon's 5th year working with the varsity and junior varsity St. Pius X track and field teams. Coach Fannon graduated from St. Pius in 2009 after being a four year member of the SPX track and field team. Coach Fannon went on to throw collegiality at Georgia Southern University excelling in the indoor weight throw as well as the hammer throw.  She graduated in 2013 with a Sport Management degree with a minor in Business. She is currently pursuing her masters degree at Mercer University although she remains a loyal Georgia Southern Eagle at heart. HAIL SOUTHERN! Coach Fannon recently become a certified Level 1 USA Track & Field Coach. When she is not at  track practice, you can find her coaching the basketball cheerleaders at SPX in the winter time. She loves to spend any free time she has watching all sports at SPX, Georgia Southern football with her friends and her family. Coach Fannon holds high  expectations for a great track season! GO GOLDEN LIONS!

Andrew Pudysz (JV/Jumps)
Coach Pudysz is has been a Theology teacher at St. Pius since the 2016-2017 academic year, teaching both freshman and sophomores, is the Auto Club moderator, & also helps with the boys Cross Country team. He has been married to his wife, Julia, since 2010 and has four young children (Andrew, Jr., Veronica, Simon, & Emelia)...and a beloved black lab named Charlie. He will be heading up the JV Track team & helping with other events as necessary.

Kirk Miller (Sprints/Distance)
Coach Miller is entering his 14th year of coaching at St. Pius X. He has won 10 state titles in cross country and track while at St. Pius X. He graduated from The Westminster Schools in Atlanta where he ran cross country and track for four years under Coach Tribble. He went on to compete at the collegiate level as a Georgia Bulldog where he specialized in the 800m and the steeplechase. Previously, Coach Miller worked with the athletes at Westminster where he won two other state titles. Coach Miller and his wife, Rebecca, have one daughter, Sarah.

Katie McClay (Distance) - Katie is entering her 5th year of coaching at St. Pius X. She will be working with the distance group. She is the Physical Education teacher at Immaculate Heart of Mary School. She also is a certified good form instructor and occasionally works for Big Peach Running Company in Brookhaven. Katie loves coaching and working with young runners as they develop their technique. Katie enjoys training for every distance from the 5k to the marathon. Her love of road races is matched by her enthusiasm for trail running. Her passion for running is shared with her husband, Ryan McClay. Ryan is the head track coach and teaches physics at Saint Pius X. They have one son, Ashton.
