David Conner, Head Varsity Coach

Coach Conner comes from Johns Creek HS in Fulton County were he spent the last 2 years…the JV went 19-3-1 during my time…he fell in love with the sport…since then I’ve gone to the state and national conventions 2 times…one thing that I will remember is a coach from George Mason who said “One thing I remember every day is that there is no next level for women’s lacrosse after college at this time, so my real job is to teach them leadership skills they can use in their professional and personal lives.”  Since joining St Pius X, I have received my Level 1 and 2 lacrosse coaching certifications…he is a member of USLacrosse…and has passed the PCA Double Goal Coach.  Coach Conner is has been married to his wife Laura for 27 years...they have 3 kids Molly 20, Emily 18, and Christian 15.

Isabel Ward, Assistant Varsity Coach

Coach Isabel Ward has been involved in the game of lacrosse for over 15 years. She was a four year varsity starter at Pope John Paul II High School in Boca Raton, Florida and went on to play at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia as a member of the inaugural women’s lacrosse team, graduating in 2017. She now lives in Atlanta, Georgia and will graduate in May with a degree in nursing.

Carli Nardi, Assistant Varsity Coach

Coach Carli Nardi has been involved in the lacrosse game for over 15 years. She first found her passion for the sport as a goal keeper on a team where she grew up in Johns Creek, GA. She has officiated the women’s game for 6 years. When she is not coaching at St Pius, Carli and her husband Nate run a small business in Decatur with their daughter Whitney. 

Michael Hatter, Head JV Lacrosse Coach

Coach Michael Hatter is entering first season as the JV head lacrosse coach. Last year he coached at John’s Creek High School as an assistant JV lacrosse coach.  Michael is a graduate of St. Pius X, Class of 2004 where he lettered in both football, wrestling, and lacrosse.  Michael also graduated from Auburn University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology.  While at Auburn University, Michael was a walk on for the Auburn Tigers football team.  He played left guard on the offensive line from 2005-2007. Coach Hatter also coaches football and just finished his tenth season working with the St. Pius X football program. Michael works for the Sports Rehabilitation Center in Dunwoody. Michael lives in Johns Creek with his wife Beth and two dogs.
