Tyler is beginning his second year as an Assistant Coach for the 7th Grade Pius Boys team. Tyler is a 2013 graduate of St. Pius X and played basketball all four years. During his Senior season, the team reached the Elite Eight of the State Tournament. He went on to play four years of basketball at Rhodes College as a two year Captain while earning an undergraduate degree and Masters of Accounting. Tyler received First Team All-Conference honors his Senior season while earning the Defensive Player of the Year Award for the Southern Athletic Association. During his four year career at Rhodes, the Lynx won two regular season conference championships and a conference tournament championship earning a bid to the national tournament. Tyler was a two time team MVP, two time team Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All-Tournament selection, and the Male Athlete of the Year for Rhodes College his Senior year. After graduating from Rhodes, Tyler stuck around to earn a Masters of Accounting while serving as a Graduate Assistant for the Rhodes Men’s Basketball team. He currently lives and works in Finance in Atlanta and is engaged to his fiancee Taylor.
