MIKE LANCASTER, HEAD COACH

Coach Lancaster will begin his sixth year as the St. Pius X wrestling Head Coach and 41st year of coaching. Coach Lancaster began his career in 1979, retiring from Gwinnett County Public Schools in June of 2014.

BRYAN FLINT, ASSISTANT COACH

Coach Flint wrestled locally for Riverwood High School, and was a state champion in 1987.  He received a scholarship from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, and was a 4-year letterman with UTC.  Coach Flint was the Southern Conference Champion in 1990 and 1991, and qualified for the NCAA's twice.  He also won the AAU Freestyle National Championship. 

JAMES BUCKALEW, ASSISTANT COACH

Coach Buckalew hails from the state of Ohio having tremendous success as a high school wrestler before continuing his collegiate career at the University of California - Bakersfield.

JOHN HAMMONTREE, ASSISTANT COACH

Coach Hammontree wrestled locally for The Lovett School and was a two time state champion.

DAN HOVEY, ASSISTANT COACH

Coach Hovey wrestled locally at Chamblee High School, capturing a state title as well during his high school career, before moving on to wrestle at the University of Georgia.

JAMIE LAUBENTHAL, ASSISTANT COACH

Coach Laubenthal, gew up in Ohio, where he wrestled during his high school career. Additionally, Coach Laubenthal serves as our middle school/youth communications director.

FATHER DAN ROGACZEWSKI, ASSISTANT COACH

Father Dan, our water polo head coach, serves as a volunteer assistant, helping wherever he is needed. He helps with all three levels, serving the varsity, JV, and middle school/youth teams.
