Tech Crew & Music Production

The St. Pius X Fine Arts Department offers courses in technology related to the performing arts.  Music Production courses cover and expand upon the essential points of current technology used in today’s music production and sound for film and television environments. As students develop their skills, they will learn more about complex audio signal flow and processing, multi‐track recording and editing, multi‐track mixing, software mastering, film and video sound, and live music production/performance.

Theater Technology emphasizes the practical use of equipment and operation of the theater. It includes use of lighting and sound equipment, stage and house management, building and equipment maintenance, and working with performers and patrons of the arts. We offer:

  • Music Production I (grades 9-12)
  • Music Production II (grades 10-12)
  • Theater Technology (grades 9-12)
