Rebecca Rose, Chorus Program moderator

Rebecca Rose '96 is currently the Faculty Moderator of the Chorus at St. Pius X Catholic High School. After enjoying her time as a student at St. Pius (where she was a 4 year member of the SPX Chorus from 1992-1996), Mrs. Rose graduated from Agnes Scott College with a double Major in Music and History, with a Masters of Education from Central Michigan University. She has been playing the violin since the age of 5 and has been a member of Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra, the Interlocken World Youth Symphony Orchestra, and the Interlochen Chorale and Women's Chorus.

When she isn't singing along with her students, Mrs. Rose is a member of the SPX Social Studies Department as the AP World History:Modern and World History CP instructor. She also co-moderates Music Ministry for school Masses and service opportunities with Mrs. Farrell. Mrs. Rose has taught collectively 10 years at St. Pius, and 14 years total. She feels incredibly blessed by all her students and loves being able to give back to the SPX Fine Arts Department. A long time resident of Atlanta, she and her husband, Matt, co-direct the Celebration Choir at Holy Cross parish.
