A shadow day is the best way for a prospective student to explore what it is like to be a golden lion. They are matched with a host student, attend academic classes, eat lunch in our cafeteria, and go on a school tour led by our Director of Admissions. Shadow day sign up is through Ravenna and only available to students in the eighth grade or older. The day runs from 8:30am to 1:15pm. We designate some shadow days for specific schools sending a large number of their 8th grade students in order to minimize disruption to their academic calendar. Here are our shadow dates for 2019-2020:
|Wednesday, September 4, 2019||General shadow day (all public and private schools welcome)|

Attire: We ask that students wear their current school uniform if applicable. Otherwise, please have them attend in business casual attire.
Materials & Lunch: In case your student attends a class where they are taking a test or quiz, we ask that shadow students bring a book with them. We provide lunch! Students will choose from the menu in the cafeteria.
Parent Coffee: We welcome parents to stay for an info session and coffee with our administrators starting around 8:30am in the cafeteria. This is an optional and informal event, but it is a great opportunity to hear more about St. Pius X and ask questions in a smaller group setting.
