Thank you for your interest in St. Pius X. Applications for the 2020-2021 school year are now available on Ravenna. For rising 9th grade applicants, completed applications are due January 31, 2020. For upper grade transfer students, completed applications are due February 28, 2019. 

St. Pius X is a Ravenna Solutions school. Our application process is entirely online through Ravenna. In order to start an application, shadow, or take a tour, all families must create a free Ravenna account.

  • September - January: Sign up to shadow a student at St. Pius X
  • October - January: Sign up for a family tour 
  • October - February: Take the SSAT test (more information below)
  • October 1 - January 31: Start and Complete your Application
  • Sunday, November 3, 2019: Open House, 1-4pm
  • Friday, January 31, 2020: Application deadline for 2020-2021 9th grade applications
  • Friday, February 28, 2020: Application deadline for 2020-2021 upper grade transfer students
  • Saturday, April 4, 2020: Admission notification date
  • Thursday, April 16, 2020: Admission acceptance response due

For rising 9th grade applicants, we require completion of the following components through Ravenna.:

  • Parent & student questionnaires
  • Current Language Arts teacher evaluation
  • Current Mathematics teacher evaluation
  • School counselor or administrator evaluation
  • Transcripts (6th, 7th, & 8th grade report cards, standardized test scores, and records of discipline)
  • SSAT Scores

SSAT Information: All 9th grade applicants must take the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT), and send scores to St. Pius X. Applicants may register online at www.ssat.org. The school code for St. Pius is 6913. To allow our admissions committee time to review, the last test date from which we can accept scores is February 8, 2020.


For 10th and 11th grade applicants, we require completion of the following components through Ravenna.:

  • Parent & student questionnaires
  • Current Language Arts teacher evaluation
  • Current Mathematics teacher evaluation
  • School counselor or administrator evaluation
  • Small group interview 
  • Transcripts (all high school years to date, standardized test scores (PSAT), and records of discipline)

Please note that any available class spots for upper grade transfers are based on attrition. This can be an extremely competitive admissions pool. Per Archdiocesan policy, we do not allow senior transfers unless the circumstances include a move from out-of-state.
