Study Support
At St. Pius X, our Catholic mission calls us to recognize the unique, God-given potential of every student. Through our Study Support Program, we provide personalized assistance to help students with documented learning differences or medical conditions grow in confidence, overcome challenges, and thrive academically.
What We Offer
St. Pius X has an incredibly dedicated and talented Study Support department comprised of three full-time faculty whose purpose is to assist students that benefit from specialized instruction based on individual learning needs, including:
- Reinforcing academic concepts
- Managing accommodations
- Building self-advocacy skills
- Strengthening organization, time management, and study strategies
Eligibility
- Students must have a psycho-educational evaluation or a medical professional’s letter recommending accommodations.
- Plans include a Student Support Plan or Medical Accommodation Plan tailored to individual needs.
Tools for Academic Success
This elective class meets one period daily and requires current psycho-educational testing. Placement is determined by need, availability, and scheduling.
