St. Pius X Catholic High School seeks a qualified full-time Latin teacher to join our thriving Latin program for the 2024-2025 academic year. Our Latin program offers Latin I through AP Latin and runs a GJCL program. We are looking for someone with a strong background/degree in Latin and/or Classics, a desire to teach at the secondary level and either certification or a willingness to become certified within three years. Additional qualifications include strong interpersonal and communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to work with colleagues, and a knowledge of teaching technologies appropriate to the discipline. St. Pius X Catholic High School is seeking a full-time Combination Math & Tools for Academic Success teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. This teacher will instruct two sections of foundations of algebra & three sections of freshman Tools for Academic Success. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in math education & a clear & renewable Georgia Teaching certificate, as well as experience working with students who often struggle with math concepts & execution or who have experience within special education. Foundations of algebra is a year-long corequisite course that is designed to fill gaps in student math skills and knowledge. Tools for Academic Success is a course for students with documented learning needs who would benefit from targeted assistance with study skills as well as support with the acquisition, processing and utilization of key content areas. The successful candidate will work closely with the Math Department in the creation of the Foundations of Algebra course content prior to the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year. St. Pius X Catholic High School is seeking a dedicated and qualified individual to join our school community as a high school nurse for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse, although licensed practical nurses will also be considered. Current certification/licensure is a requirement for this position. CPR/AED certification is required and must be up to date. Qualified candidates should possess the following qualities and skills: Compassionate and empathetic approach towards students’ well-being.
