Mission Team Succeeds with Annual Spaghetti Dinner
November 6th, 2012

The second annual Mission Team Spaghetti Dinner was another overwhelming success. This year, the group was able to serve over 500 dinners prior to the SPX vs. Blessed Trinity football game. For the 2012-2013 school year, Campus Ministry will offer a total of three mission trips, allowing more students the opportunity to serve than in previous years.

Over spring break, three mission teams will travel to Jamaica, Nicaragua, and Washington, D.C. in conjunction with the Mustard Seed organization and the Washington Middle School for Girls. Students will work with abandoned and handicapped children, and those living in destitute poverty. The Mission Team Spaghetti Dinner helps fund these trips, with every penny raised being put to good use for the missions.

The group would like to extend their thanks to Doc Chey’s, Chic-fil-A (Tucker), Blue Ribbon Grill, J.J. Jardina Produce, Galla’s Pizza, Chartwells, Keystone Press, Inc., SPAS, Home & School Association, Mothers’ Club, and the Athletic Association for their donations and time.

Thanks to all those who attended the dinner, volunteered, and offered support. We look forward to next year’s event!
