Spring Blood Drive: March 26
March 18th, 2015

Did you know that one pint of blood can save up to three lives? St. Pius X will be hosting our spring blood drive on Thursday, March 26 in the gym. This blood drive is being dedicated to one of our own St. Pius X faculty members: Ms. Charleen Klister, a Pius teacher of over 50 years who is battling leukemia. Adults, currently, the blood drive is full, however, if this changes, please be sure to check back for more information (SPX Blood Drive (sponsor code spxhs)). Please note, we cannot accommodate walk-up donors, so please register online or email us at spxblooddrive@gmail.com and we will be glad to assist you.

In addition, we will also have a table set up at the drive for anyone 18 years and older to register for the bone marrow registry. This database helps match donors to those in need of bone marrow transplants. Ms. Klister is scheduled to have a bone marrow transplant in May. She currently does not have a match and she will also be in need of blood. We can help!  Bone Marrow Information

All student sign-ups took place in the cafeteria during lunch periods on March 16-18. Thank you for your support!
