Head Middle School Football Cheer Coach

Coach Kelci Garrison

Coach Garrison is excited to begin her fourth year as the Head Middle School Football Cheerleading Coach and her fifth year coaching Middle School Football Cheer. She will take on her third year as the Head Basketball Cheerleading Coach this winter, and just finished her fourth summer as the Girl’s Weight Training Coach. As a 2009 SPX alum, this will be Coach Garrison’s eleventh year, in the cheerleading program, cheering on the Golden Lions! In her four years at St. Pius X, Coach Garrison cheered for both football and basketball. As well as having been a lifelong competitive gymnast, she served as the captain of the Varsity Football and Varsity Competition Cheerleading squad. She was even on the first Middle School Cheer squad at SPX!

When Coach Garrison is not coaching, you can find her in the classroom as a substitute teacher at SPX. Currently she is currently pursuing her Secondary Education degree at Georgia State University with hopes of one day joining the wonderful Math and PE/Health Departments at SPX! In her free time Coach Garrison loves to work for The Monogramming Queen, and spending time with her family, friends, and three dogs – Molly, Putty, and Winnie.

Coach Megan Fannon

This is Coach Fannon's second year working with the St. Pius Cheerleading family. A 2009 SPX alum, Coach Fannon was a member of the first Middle School Football Cheerleading squad with Coach Garrison, as well as a member of the Freshman and JV cheerleading squads. Coach Fannon was also a four year member of the track and field team, drama department and student government. Coach Fannon graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Sport Management degree and a minor in Business. She is currently pursuing her graduate degree at Mercer University, but will always be a Georgia Southern Eagle at heart. HAIL SOUTHERN!

When she is not at the coaching cheerleading, you can find her on the track coaching the throwers and the pole vaulters. She loves to spend any free time she has watching Georgia Southern football, and hanging out with her friends and family.

Coach Fannon is excited for a great season! GO LIONS!
