Frannie Geeslin '16 Recognized for Perseverance
June 1st, 2016

St. Pius X Class of 2016 alumna Frannie Geeslin was recognized in the Georgia Bulletin for her perseverance in overcoming obstacles in her life.

Prior to her freshman year at St. Pius X, Geeslin was diagnosed with a DNET tumor the size of two fists in her brain. Despite the surgeries and obstacles it presented, she was determined to have a traditional high school experience. Very few of her classmates were aware of her struggles.  Geeslin looks forward to attending the University of Colorado this fall.
