Archdiocese Recognized for AP District Honor Roll
January 6th, 2014

The Archdiocese of Atlanta was recognized by the College Board for the 4th Annual AP District Honor Roll. School districts are honored with this achievement for increasing access to AP course work while maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher on AP Exams.

A list of 477 school districts from the United States and Canada were named in this year’s honor roll, the Archdiocese being one of four named from the state of Georgia. The accomplishment recognizes the three high schools in the Archdiocese: Blessed Trinity, Our Lady of Mercy, and St. Pius X.

According to the College Board website, “Reaching these goals indicates that these districts are successfully identifying motivated, academically prepared students who are likely to benefit from rigorous AP course work.”
