of Dance Six volumes. Includes: extensive
surveys of all forms of dance; descriptions of dance techniques;
essays on the music, costume, and scenic design that have
accompanied dance. Individual dancers, choreographers,
producers, companies, and dance works are featured as well.
REF 792.8 INT International Dictionary
of Modern Dance Provides information on dancers,
choreographers, teachers, companies, designers, writers on
dance, national overviews, and selected important dances.
The Western world is emphasized, but coverage is global.
REF 792.845 GRU The World's Great Ballets A
brief introduction to ballet history leads to the descriptions
of selected ballets. Each description includes:
the circumstances of its creation, the personalities involved,
its critical reception, and an analysis of its style.

and soloists. You can access information about past
ballets by browsing through the archives.
