The Bartleby project has put online the complete text of many previously
published anthologies. You will also find the full texts of
the works of more than two dozen poets from Rupert Brooke to William
Butler Yeats. This database is searchable; the indexes include chronologic,
author, title, and first line.
Introduction
to Representative Poetry. A
historical anthology of English poetry, from the early medieval
period to the beginning of the twentieth century, which includes
over thousands of poems by hundreds of authors. Works are indexed
by poet, first line, title, date, and keyword. Also includes a timeline
and calendar of significant events (births, deaths, publications,
etc.) in the history of poetry and a glossary of poetic terms and
forms.
