Mr. Carter has been a part of the Social Studies Department at St. Pius X since the fall of 1999.

Originally from Bedford, NY,  Mr. Carter attended Auburn University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree, with a major in history and a minor in political science.  Upon graduating from Auburn, he taught in the Fulton County School District .

Since Mr. Carter has been at St. Pius, he has taught World Geography, World History, American History and United States government. 

Along with Mr. Carter's teaching responsibilities, he is also the head coach of both the boys lacrosse team and the swimming and diving team, along with being an assistant football coach.

Mr. Carter is married to fellow “Yankee” and Auburn graduate Sarah, who is a graphic designer for the Arthritis Foundation.
