ab ovo usque ad mala =

"from the egg to the apples"

This phrase was used to describe a Roman meal, which typically began with an appetizer of eggs and other foods and ended with fruits. It is now used to mean "from start to finish."

From syllabus:

All projects and portions of projects as required must be turned in on the assigned due date and in the assigned class period whether you're in school or not. Failure to do so will result in an initial 50% deduction from your project grade for the first day late and an additional 10 points for each subsequent one. Students who are absent must still get their projects to school on the due date or before the due date.
