CP1 Freshmen English supports the language development of college bound students. Each semester will have a balance of composition, applied grammar, and literature. The development of vocabulary, speaking, listening, research, and test taking skills will be an integral part of the curriculum.

William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet

Objectives:

To discuss, interpret, and analyze

To strenghten vocabulary of Shakespeare

To recognize Shakespeare sonnets/iambic pentameter

To examine the characters

To visualize the Shakepeare world

To examime parallels and plot

Activities:

Friday: Last DGP Exercise/ Romeo and Juliet Begin Act IV

Monday 12: Acts I, II, III Test ; Last test Date.
