HEAD VARSITY COACH

Coach Carter is starting his eighth year at St. Pius. He was the Varsity Assistant coach for two years and is now beginning his sixth year as Head Coach. Coach Carter attended Auburn University, where he was a three-time captain, three-time all conference selection and the 1998 conference MVP for the Auburn Lacrosse team. Coach Carter teaches Social Studies at St. Pius and he is the Head Coach of the Boys Lacrosse team and coaches Football. He is married to a fellow Yankee Sarah.

MARGARET GILBErT                           
ASSISTANT COACH

Coach Gilbert is in her sixth year coaching at St. Pius X. She holds a degree from Virginia Tech. While at Virginia Tech, she swam all four years and competed at the Olympic Trials and NCAA Trials. Coach Gilbert is married to Bob Gilbert (a teacher and coach at St. Pius X). Margaret and Bob have four daughters, Katy , Sara , Jill and Mary.

Debbie Guilbeau                            
ASSISTANT COACH

Coach Guilbeau begins her first season coaching swimming and diving at St. Pius but she is no stranger to athletics. Debbie ran collegiate cross country at Duquesne University. She is also in her 12th season of coaching the St. Pius X Girls CC Team. During those 12 seasons the team has won a state championship title and several state-runner up titles. At St. Pius Debbie has also coached basketball, track and lacrosse. In the classroom she is a Spanish Teacher, Student Council Moderator, and active on several faculty committees.

Tim hallisey
DIVING COACH

Coach Hallisey begins his second year with the St. Pius Dive and Swim Team.  Coach Hallisey has been associated with the sport of Diving for over 30 years. He grew up in Alabama where he won numerous county titles, high school titles and finished in the top 5 several times in the High School State Championship.  Coach Hallisey finished his competitive diving career when he attended the University of Alabama. Coach Hallisey has had many divers go on to compete in college.  He is married to Rosanne and have the one daughter, Emily.
