HEAD COACH

Coach Carter is starting his 10th year at St. Pius. He was the Varsity Assistant coach for two years and is now beginning his 8th year as Head Coach. Coach Carter attended Auburn University, where he was a three-time captain, three-time all conference selection and the 1998 conference MVP for the Auburn Lacrosse team. Coach Carter teaches Social Studies at St. Pius and he is the Head Coach of the Boys Lacrosse team and coaches Football. He is married to a fellow Yankee Sarah. They have a daughter, Darby.

Tim hallisey
DIVING COACH

Coach Hallisey begins his 4th year with the St. Pius Dive and Swim Team.  Coach Hallisey has been associated with the sport of Diving for over 30 years. He grew up in Alabama where he won numerous county titles, high school titles and finished in the top 5 several times in the High School State Championship.  Coach Hallisey finished his competitive diving career when he attended the University of Alabama. Coach Hallisey has had many divers go on to compete in college.  He is married to Rosanne and have the one daughter, Emily.

JASON EAGLEN                           
ASSISTANT COACH

Coach Eaglen is new to St. Pius as a theology teacher and a coach.  He comes to St. Pius after teaching in the Religion Department at The University of Georgia for the past four years.  He holds a Master's Degree from The University of Georgia.  He swam both for Dynamo and for Marist High School.  He is married to Amy Eaglen, and is the proud father of Madison, Chase, Christian, and Jonathan.

JOANNA LAPAGLIA                           
ASSISTANT COACH

Coach Lapaglia is starting her 2nd year coaching at St. Pius. She was a member of the Pius swim team for 4 years making waves as a sprinter, before heading off to college. Although a full time student she has chosen to give back to the program and coach the new generation of Golden Lions swimmers.

ANDREW DALTON                           
ASSISTANT COACH

Coach Dalton is starting her 2nd year coaching at St. Pius. He was a member of the Pius swim team for 4 years, setting the school record for the 100 Fly. Coach Dalton swam in college at Springfield in Massachusetts before returning to Georgia as a Firefighter and EMT. Coach Dalton currently works for both the Peachtree City and Dakalb County Fire Departments.
