Killebrew Bailey, IV

In his 8th year as head
coach at St. Pius X and 16th year as a high school soccer
coach, Killebrew Bailey has established his expectations for
the men's soccer program. In his first seven years Coach Bailey guided
the team to the 2009 State Championship, 5 Region Championships (including 3 straight years undefeated
in region play), three Final Four appearences, and six top ten finishes.
His resume speaks for itself, holding the Varsity Boys' Soccer State
Championship 1A-4A(’00) in Alabama. He was named the Region
6AAAA Coach of Year the previous two years. He was voted the
Alabama Soccer Coach of the Year [1A-4A(‘00)] and All Metro
Coach of the Year [1A-6A(’00), Huntsville, Alabama]. He currently holds a National Diploma
from the NSCAA and a Certificate of Coaching from the KNVB, Dutch
National Soccer Federation.

O'Shea

David
O'Shea is the varsity boy's soccer assistant coach. Coach O'Shea
has experience playing at both high school and amateur club level
in England. He also played at college level for the University
of Central Lancashire. After spending time coaching in several soccer
programs and clinics in the England he moved to United States and
began coaching U-12s. Coach O'Shea has coached for three year
at both club and high school level in the Augusta area and subsequently
moved to Atlanta to take a teaching position at IHM. He currently
plays on an amateur team at the Atlanta Silverbacks Club.
Nick
Fiorello

Coach Nick Fiorello will
be a varsity assistant coach as well as boys goalkeeping
coach. Coach Fiorello has also been a tremendous assest to
our varsity teams and goalkeepers the past several years.
Coach Fiorello has been playing soccer since the age of 7. Having
played his entire soccer career here in Georgia, he is familiar
with the success of the St.Pius X Boys' Soccer Program. He started
off playing at Decatur Dekalb YMCA, then ASA, and ended his career
as a striker for the Datagraphics Soccer Club. He currently coaches
at the classic level U-14 boys'. He has been coaching soccer for
the past 6 years. Although a graduate from Georgia State University
w/a Degree in Finance, he is currently in the Health and Fitness
profession and has been so for the past 20 years.

Lucas
Moreno is from Maracaibo, Venezuela, and began playing soccer for
several youth teams at an early age in Venezuela and Colombia. In
1991, Lucas' family relocated to Atlanta. He played locally for
TYSA and Concorde youth select club teams. Lucas has played under
former u-20 Canadian Men's National Team coach Paul James and other
college and professional coaches as a standout player at the Coastal
Carolina University Soccer Academy. He graduated with a Batchelor
of Science degree in Psychology from Georgia State University in
2005. From 2001-03 Mr. Moreno went on to gain valuable experience
playing and training with Mexican first division professional teams
Queretaro Futbol Club, Deportivo Celaya, and Salamanca Petroleros
under head coach Hugo Serrano. After several knee injuries, Lucas
turned his attention to coaching. Using his background in Exercise
Science, which he also studied at Georgia State University, he has
gone on to train athletes at multiple levels while working for Bally
Total Fitness and LA Fitness Sports Club Int'l. Mr. Moreno currently
hold's a USSF National D Coaching
License.

Mattt
Patria

Coach Matt Patria is
the Middle School Boy's Soccer Coach. He graduated from St. Pius
in 1999 where he played Varsity Soccer all four years. Matt
was named The AJC Player of the year 1999, led the division in scoring
with 24 goals and 15 assists his senior year, and was named on the
all south team in 99. Played college at Appalachian State, and later
joined a mens league in Athens. He went on to graduate from the
University of Georgia in 2004 with a BSA in Landscaping & Grounds
Management. This is his fourth year coaching in the Middle School
Program and he looks forward to many more winning seasons.
