Peter Voorhees                   

Peter Voorhees is in his first year as the head coach of the Golden Lions' women's lacrosse team.  A 1972 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Peter served over 22 years as an officer in the Air Force.  He also is a retired Delta Air Lines pilot, flying for Delta for 26 years.  As a cadet at Air Force Peter played attack on his squadron's intramural lacrosse team for three years. While stationed in Germany Peter played forward on his base soccer team. A Georgia High School Association certified community coach, Peter was an assistant coach for the men's lacrosse team at North Springs High School for one year and was an assistant coach with the women's lacrosse team for one season each at Alpharetta High School and West Forsyth High School. On the St. Pius X faculty, Peter is a member of the Social Studies Department and teaches Geography and U.S. History.

Peter and his wife Angela have lived in Alpharetta since 1992. Peter's oldest son, Scott, a graduate of Clemson University, was a state ranked tennis player in Arizona in 2000. His son, Paul, a Chattahoochee High School graduate, is a 4th year mid-fielder on the Clemson University club lacrosse team. His daughter, Alisha, graduated from Alpharetta High School where she was a two time varsity letter earning mid-fielder on the Raider girls' lacrosse team and a 2008 Academic All American. She is attending Clemson University on a U.S. Air Force ROTC scholarship. Peter's passions when not coaching are sailing and down-hill skiing.

Junior Varsity Coach

Natalie Bain                      

Natalie is in her first year as coach of the Golden Lions' women's junior varsity lacrosse team. Natalie grew up in Roswell, Georgia and attended Roswell High School where she played on the varsity team all four years. After high school, she attended the University of South Carolina where she graduated with honors, magna cum laude with a degree in Philosophy and Medical Humanities. While at USC, Natalie played on the women's lacrosse club team, was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority and served as the president of the National Honors Society for the Columbia chapter.

Post graduation, she moved back to Atlanta and currently resides in Midtown. Natalie works in the marketing department of Jenny Pruitt & Associates and assists real estate agents in marketing their homes. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, running, playing lax with her friends on the weekends, taking her dog to the park and visiting her parents in Florida. She is thrilled to be a first year coach and is looking forward to a fun, successful season.
