| On January 4, the SPX Dance Team will be working with Ashley Britt. She is a current member of the Atlanta Hawks Dance Team. Ashley has also been an officer and member of the University of Georgia's Competitive Dance Team, as well as a dance staff instructor for UDA. She will be setting her choreography on the SPX Dance Team and this work will be featured at games in January and February. |

UDA DANCE CAMP - AUBURN 2007 During the summer of 2007, the team participated in a UDA Dance Camp at Auburn University. While at camp, the girls placed third in their Home Routine dance out of 11 other teams! The girls also received a superior award, the highest honor at camp, for their team dance routine which they learned at camp. ATLANTA BOTANICAL GARDENS On December 7, 2003, the Dance Team performed at the Atlanta Botanical Garden's Holiday in the Garden festival. The team performed five dances, including solos by senior Shannon O'Sullivan and sophomore Caroline Hust. NDA PEACHSTATE REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP The Competition Dance Team won their division at the NDA Peachstate Regional Championships in Roswell, GA on January 11, 2004. Congratulations, Dance Team! |

TEAM PARTICIPATES IN The Competition Dance Team competed in the 2004 National Dance Alliance (NDA) National Championships in Orlando, Florida from March 13-14, 2004. In only their second year attending the event, the team has made huge strides! They increased their score tremendously since their first trip to Nationals last year. St. Pius X was one of hundreds of teams attending the event. The competition was a huge success! DANCE TEAM WINS REGIONALS!The Competition Dance Team took home a winning trophy in the Small Varsity Team Performance category from the 2004 NDA Peachstate Regional Competition on January 11, 2004. 19 cheerleading and dance teams participated in the event, which was held at Roswell High School in Roswell, GA. The team will now focus on performing at the 2004 NDA National Championships in Orlando, Florida on March 12-14!
