SPX is proud to be entering its 5th year of having 2 middle school squads to cheer for the 6-8th grade Pius football teams.  We have one squad for 6th and 7th grade girls, and one squad for 8th grade girls.  Practices are usually held 3-4 times a week, and games are on Saturdays.  Squad members will attend required summer camp at SPX the week of June 10th.

Tryouts will be held over 3 days.  The third day will be an official tryout performance in front of a panel of judges.  Judges will be looking for spirit, technique, and knowledge of material. Girs are to wear shorts, t-shirts (no tank tops please) and athletic shoes and socks.  On the tryout day girls will need to wear blue, black or gray shorts and a mostly white t-shirt.
