BONNIE E. SPARK BIOGRAPHY

Director of Pius Players and Drama Instructor

A New Yorker by birth and a graduate of the College of William and Mary, Ms. Spark has been singing and dancing her entire life. She has had the pleasure of learning directly from several Broadway stars, including Alfred Drake (the original “Curly” in Oklahoma , and “Hajj the Beggar” in Kismet ), Dorothy Collins ( Do I Hear a Waltz ), and Chita Rivera ( West Side Story, Chicago, Kiss of the Spider Woman ). Included in Ms. Spark’s Atlanta performances are Annie Get Your Gun , The Sound of Music , Fiddler on the Roof , and Broadway Caberet . Ms. Spark is a member of the Actors’ Equity Association. She is celebrating her 27th year at St. Pius.
