  Welcome to the St. Pius X Catholic High School band program!

Director's Notes:

-Congrats to 2008-09 Drum Majors Brigid Horlander and Michael Richter!

-2nd Disney Trip Payment now past due for current 9th-11th graders.

-1st Disney Trip Payment for incoming 08-09 members due at May 13th meeting (3rd payment for current 9th-11th)

OFFICIAL BAND ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Flagline 08-09 Tryouts - May 12th, 14th, 15th, 16th after school

Drumline 08-09 Tryouts - May 7th, May 14th after school

2008-09 New SPX Band Student Audition Date:

Tuesday, May 6th - 3:30pm to 5pm

All new band members must attend. This is a low-pressure, informal audition and should take 10 minutes. Please come with a prepared piece of music for your instrument. You will also be asked to sightread a short musical excerpt. There is a place for all auditioners in our band program.

The make-up audition date is Thursday May 13th, 4:30pm to 5:30pm after the new member meeting.

Thursday, May 13th, 3:30pm-4:30pm in the SPX band room

All returning band members and new band members for the 2008-09 school year must attend with a parent. Important info will be discussed and handed out.
