Mr. Byrd is the St. Pius X Director of Admissions and also serves as a part-time counselor, test coordinator, and head boys' tennis coach.

Chuck received his Bachelor's degree from Macalester College in Minnesota and his Master's degree from Georgia State University. 

Chuck's wife, Lynn, is a gifted teacher in Gwinnett County.  All 3 of their children are St. Pius X alumni.

Chuck's hobbies include sailing, biking, and traveling. He and his family have lived overseas for 4 years and have had the opportunity to visit many countries.
