SCOTT CARTER HEAD COACH
Coach Carter has been coaching at St. Pius X since 1999. He was the Varsity Assistant coach for two years and is now beginning his 9th year as Head Coach. Coach Carter attended Auburn University, where he was a three-time captain, three-time all conference selection and the 1998 conference MVP for the Auburn Lacrosse team. Coach Carter teaches Social Studies at St. Pius X and he is the Head Coach of the Boys Lacrosse team and coaches Football. He is married to a fellow Yankee Sarah. They have a daughter, Darby, and a son, Liam. (Contact Coach Carter)

TIM HALLISEY DIVING COACH
Coach Hallisey begins his 4th year with the St. Pius X Dive and Swim Team.  Coach Hallisey has been associated with the sport of Diving for over 30 years. He grew up in Alabama where he won numerous county titles, high school titles and finished in the top 5 several times in the High School State Championship.  Coach Hallisey finished his competitive diving career when he attended the University of Alabama. Coach Hallisey has had many divers go on to compete in college.  He is married to Rosanne and have the one daughter, Emily.

JASON EAGLEN ASSISTANT COACH
Coach Eaglen has been with St. Pius X as a theology teacher and a coach since 2008.  He comes to St. Pius X after teaching in the Religion Department at The University of Georgia for four years.  He holds a Master's Degree from The University of Georgia.  He swam both for Dynamo and for Marist High School.  He is married to Amy Eaglen, and is the proud father of Madison, Chase, Christian, and Jonathan.

JOANNA LAPAGLIA ASSISTANT COACH
Coach Lapaglia is starting her 4th year coaching at St. Pius X. She was a member of the Pius swim team for 4 years making waves as a sprinter, before heading off to college. Although a full time student she has chosen to give back to the program and coach the new generation of Golden Lions swimmers.

KATIE STILSON ASSISTANT COACH
Coach Stilson is starting her 2nd year coaching at St. Pius X. She was a member of the Pius swim team for 3 years before heading off to college at the University of Georgia. She is a member of the math department and holds a Bachelor's degree from UGA and a Master's Degree from the University of South Florida. She is married to Rob Stilson.

BOB GILBERT ASSISTANT COACH
Coach Gilbert is joining the St. Pius X swim team this year, and is also beginning his tenth year at St. Pius X as a football coach.  Coach Gilbert is getting back into the Swimming Arena!  Coach Bob was a 3 year letterman as a walk-on sprinter at Virginia Tech and earned a partial scholarship in his senior year.   He received a B.S. in Physical Education from Virginia Tech in 1988 and an I.M.A. from the University of South Carolina in 1995. He coached at Dacula High School for seven years and then went to Forsyth Central for two years as a football coach and Head Baseball Coach. Coach Gilbert teaches Physical Education. Sadly, Coach Bob lost his beautiful wife Margaret to Breast Cancer in the spring of 2009. Coach Margaret Gilbert was a swimming coach at St. Pius X. Coach Bob is the proud father of four daughters; Katy, 16; Sara, 13; Jill, 10; and Mary Margaret 5.
