Funded Scholarships


Established in 2007 by Dan and Lisa Brutto, parents of two St. Pius X alumnae, Michelle '04 and Danielle '06, this award is given to a deserving student who excels in the fine arts - dancing, drama, music, or the visual arts.

This fund was established in 2008 by the family of Ms. DeGolian Sullivan '71 and the Class of 1971 after she passed away following a courageous battle with cancer.  The donors desire  to assist those families with multiple children enrolled in St. Pius X and other Catholic schools.  The donors wish to express their gratitude and recognize the sacrifices made by parents who educate their children in Catholic schools.  The scholarship fund is held and administered by The Catholic Foundation of North Georgia for St. Pius X Catholic High School.

This scholarship was established in 2011 by Pat and Connie Esser, parents of three St. Pius X graduates: Rachelle '04, Natalie '08, and Sarah '11.   Throughout their tenure at St. Pius X, the Esser family dedicated much of their time in support of the arts.  This scholarship will be awarded to deserving students in the fine arts program.

Established in 2007 by her family, this scholarship honors this devoted mother of two St. Pius X alumnae, Jackie Estafen Zurinaga '85 and Janine Estafen Koureih '91.  Madeline, who succumbed to cancer in 2001, was the St. Pius X business manager from 1980-1983.  This scholarship honors a deserving female student who has a deep Catholic faith and a keen interest in learning about the teachings of the sacred scriptures and the study of faith.

Established in 2009 by an anonymous donor, this scholarship is awarded to a deserving student (in good disciplinary standing) who is experiencing extreme financial hardship, in particular due to the loss of one or both of his/her parents, abandonment or dislocation due to an unforeseen calamity.

Established by the St. Pius X Mothers' Club, this scholarship is awarded to students who exhibit a willingness to serve school and society with initiative and enthusiasm.

Established in March 2013, this funded scholarship is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Council 15161 from Our Lady of the Assumption parish.  It is to be awarded to an incoming freshman from Our Lady of the Assumption Elementary School as recommended by the OLA principal.

Established in 2014 by Mrs. Susan Seaver '64, this funded scholarship honors the memory of her husband and will provide tuition assistance for two students of the sophomore class who possess the same strong  character traits which made Jim an honorable, loyal, hardworking, and successful man.  Scholarships will be awarded to a student interested in the dramatic arts as well as a student-athlete in the baseball or football program who is determined, hardworking, dependable, dedicated, honorable, and strong-willed.
