Summer Reading
The English Department requires reading to expand your general knowledge and give you pleasure. We hope that the annotations will be helpful as you choose your books to read. If you have difficulty locating any books this summer, you can order them on the Internet from either Amazon or Barnes & Noble. During the first week of fall semester, all English classes will discuss the books read over the summer. You are not required to take notes, but you might find it helpful to write down the title, author, and main character's names to make it easier to talk and write about the books. You will also write an essay as part of your assessment.
