Student Designs raise money for SPX Mission Teams and STAND
December 2nd, 2015

Sophomores Brennan Quinn and Katherine McGraw and freshman Ben Lathrop,  three students in the St. Pius X Maker Club, raised over $300 for the SPX Mission Teams and STAND, the anti-genocide student coalition. These three students digitally designed SPX-themed Christmas ornaments which were printed on our 3D printers. The student group sold the ornaments at the Marketplace and all proceeds went to support the Mission Team and STAND. Though nervous about what the demand would be on these ornaments, 150 items were printed and fingers were crossed. The Christmas ornaments were so popular, they sold out and the table closed 2 hours before the scheduled end of the event.
