WILLIAM WOLF, HEAD 8TH GRADE COACH
Coach Wolf (SPX ’06) returns for his 3rd season coaching the 8th grade team. Coach Wolf was a member of the Golden Lions basketball team when he was a student at St. Pius X. He was a member of the 2006 region championship team and known for his accurate long distance shooting. In addition to coaching at SPX, Coach Wolf has coached AAU basketball the past three seasons. He was born into a basketball family, with his father (Gary Wolf), being a standout player at Ohio University. A graduate of the University of West Georgia with a business degree, Coach Wolf has successfully started two small businesses and has plans for a third.

 

 

BRYAN SUTLIVE, ASSISTANT 8TH GRADE COACH
Coach Sutlive, a 2000 graduate of SPX, was a standout basketball and soccer player during his time at St. Pius X. He was a captain of the school's first ever region championship basketball team in 2000. After attending the University of Georgia, Coach Sutlive taught English and coached basketball at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic High School in Fairburn, GA for several years before attending law school at the University of Dayton. He now practices law in Atlanta and is excited to get back into coaching at his alma mater.

 

 

 

JOE FLINT, ASSISTANT 8TH GRADE COACH
Coach Flint (SPX ’07) joins the Golden Lions coaching staff this season. He was a 3-sport athlete whilea student at St. Pius X, including 3 years as a starter on the basketball team. Coach Flint, a graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a degree in Education, works in sales for Flint Machine Tools.
